Waterford County Enterprise Board was established in 1993 to fill a need for economic development in the County Waterford area. We have since helped over 250 small businesses set up and grow. It's main objective is to provide supports to facilitate the establishment, development and growth of micro-enterprises in the County. The Board provides financial support in the form of capital and employment assistance. It also provides customised training to improve the entrepreneurial and management development ability of owner-managers of small businesses. Gerard Enright - CEO
Gerard has a strong financial background, and has over 20 years experience in public service. As CEO he is responsible for the successful implementation of the board's action plan.

Anike Tyrrell - Assistant CEO
Anike has a Degree in Marketing and has 20 years experience both as a self employed business woman and in community & business development. Anike's principal role is project development, and the implementation of customised Training & Mentoring programmes for the boards clients.

Catherine McCarthy - Administrative Assistant
Catherine has over 3 years experience working with the board. She has an in depth knowledge of all processes involved when looking for assistance. Catherine is the front line for any queries which come to the office.
